This was one of those last minute sessions that was meant to be!  I’m so thankful I had the opportunity to photograph Silas.  He was a sleepy, sleepy guy.  His dark hair and adorable cheeks were such fun to photograph.  I think I was smiling during his entire session!  Dana and Jeff, it was wonderful to meet you!  I hope you are doing well and enjoying this special first year with Silas!  :)

I really must be better about blogging sessions!  Here’s another summer session getting blogged……just six months later.  :)  I loved little Riley AND had such fun with his mom and dad.  Emily and Kyle, I know it’s been quite a few months since I last saw you but I still have the best memories from Riley’s session.  I felt like we had known each other for years!  Thank you for spending the afternoon with me, hanging out with our fun neighbors, and letting me photograph sweet Riley.  :)

emily - I love the way you capture newborns in your newborn sessions! Great work!January 31, 2013 – 6:47 am

It’s such an honor when a fellow photographer asks you to photograph their family!  I’ll admit, I always get a little extra nervous!  :)  I photographed the Thompson family back in June on a cool, dark evening, but there was no way we were going to let the weather dampen our fun!  We played, laughed and literally rolled around in the grass.  I loved watching  Joe and Patience play with their kids – there were no shortage of snuggles.  I enjoy looking back at Spring sessions and seeing clover and such lush green grass!  Quite the contrast from the view outside my December window!  Joe and Patience, thank you for a wonderful session.  Thank you for putting up with my goofiness during your session and most of all thank you for trusting me.  xoxo

I’m finally beginning to catch up on my blogging!  This session was shot way back in July!!  I was thrilled when Avery’s mom, Melissa, contacted me for newborn photos.  She wanted soft, natural images with neutral tones.  I felt like we were a perfect match,  and I was really excited to create a special session for Avery. The first photo with Avery awake is one of my favorite shots from 2012.   She was such a sleepy girl, and I could not have asked for a better session.    Meet sweet Avery!
